Display comments on actions in the workflow designer

When building large, complicated workflows, it would be handy to have a comments option displayed on the workflow designer page, without the need to open the right-hand context panel.
Use case for this would be to use as a reminder of what a step does, why the step exists, or something as simple as being able to say things like "Need to add X variable to form screen once created" or "not completed" to remind the designer of work still to be done.

    Any Action object in the designer should have a Comments/Notes field. Make it generically available for designers to be able to self-document what their code is doing. We do this today by naming Actions with descriptive names which helps, but a longer text field is often needed. Thank you.

    Good idea Kris. I currently use put a log action next to incomplete action as my to do reminder

    I'm aware of the action set comments option, but that's not quite what I'm suggesting, as I don't really want to create the action set just to put a design comment/reminder of work still to be done on single actions/tasks etc
