Currently document ownership is bound to the group in which a document resides within Process Manager. It would be much better if document ownership / review could be manually assigned at document creation and bound to the document itself (similar to how process ownership works). It is cumbersome having ownership rights defined independently from the document itself.
This would achieve the following:
The review process would be more streamlined as reviews wouldn't go to incorrect people (sometimes a document owner isn't the same as a process owner in the location it has been added)
Document ownership and review could be managed via the documents area in Process Manager. Currently you can see who the owner/reviewer is in this screen but you can't edit this, meaning you need to go to the process itself. Even then it is not easy to change ownership. This would streamline document management in the app and the document area would become a true repository rather than just a list.
