Bring back the ability to edit docs from My Changes Dashboard for Promasters

Prior to the last release, as Promaster I could click the edit pencil on the far right hand side of the My Changes/Document Changes screen in My Dashboard (we do not have PAW).

This enabled me to make quickly and easily see the history of the document and make quick changes eg edit the document link name to meet our naming convention. Now I have to find the document in our document library (over 2,000 documents) instead. If there's more than a few document links that have been changed this is quite time consuming and tedious.

Please bring back the ability to edit a document from the My Changes/Document Changes screen at least for Promasters.

It is such a pain to need to have two windows open in order to review and edit my documents... Please bring the button back!

I agree about the new colour scheme. There's insufficient contrast, Group names in boxes are split inappropriately when they're more than one line long, inability to pin an opened activity box on the map view, fonts appear to be smaller making it difficult to read, it's far too staid and has lost its fun engaging look - and we know Promapp is all about engagement!
Can't help with your approvals issue as we don't have the approvals module.

I think this is a very good idea! I don't know why they took this feature away as it's definitely made it much more tedious to archive a document, or change the metadata, or view the document history when it comes up for review.

Absolutely! please bring back this functionality in the dashboard..Working through many documents to approve every day. checking in the edit screen is also part of my approval check.- Also, sometimes need to reload the document with a slight change or change the display title slightly or check / add a document tag.

I agree. Sub-par document naming is one of the things that I do monitor and it's time consuming finding the documents each time.

Thank you for the feedback. We have made the theme changes with better accessibility in mind, and we'll continue to make incremental improvements with every release. You can read more about the background of this decision here https://community.nintex.com/t5/Blog/The-new-look-and-feel-of-Nintex-Promapp-is-now-permanent/ba-p/206782

I will merge this idea with an existing idea for editing documents via My Changes dashboard.

    Hi there,
We are finding that the new layout that is to come into place in June is not very user friendly. the colour scheme is not very appealing.
Users at our site are not liking the fact that the option to edit while approving documents are no longer available. Is it compulsory that this new layout is put in place in June. Our site would prefer to stay with the original profile. Is there anyway that this is possible? If not can you please add some changes so that during the approval process the approveer can edit the document if it is not correct without having to search for the document to then amend and make changes.
    Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. Our intention was to make the Dashboard area the central place for notifications and editing documents did not fit with that construct. However the use case you provided makes a good point, and saving time is always valuable.

For now we'll monitor further interest in this idea from other clients.
