Gap in functionality - Unable to access Document Reference field when adding a document

There is a gap in the current functionality, where if you have enabled "Document Reference" on your instance of Process Manager (which allows you to assign a unique Document reference number or identifier for better document control and governance).

Currently when uploading a new document, there is no option to allocate the new document a Document Reference.

i.e. When you upload a document via Documents > Add a New Document (screenshot provided)

This defeats the purpose of the "Document Reference" functionality, as it is used to ensure we do not upload duplicates.

The work around provided is to see the "Document Reference" field you must upload a document when editing process, as thought that window you are able to see the "Document Reference" field via the "Add/Upload/Link" window (screenshot provided)

This workaround unsustainable, clunky and not intuitive to the end user as it forces them to navigate to a process, instead of using the prominent "Add a document" button in the main navigational window.
