Ability to re-order action order in an action plan (Improvement Module)

Hello,

Let's say that we create an action plan with say 3 actions and later, we realised that we missed one more action that should be completed ‘before’ the 3rd one in the original plan. The newly created action will show at the top or at the bottom of the action plan.

Now, if I want to show the actions list in a particular order (after the plan has been created - as in the example in the pic), it doesn’t seem to be possible to rearrange them i.e. like drag them up/down.

Why do we need this? Because in a more complex change, we need all participants in the change request to know who should be completing an action first, second, etc. Otherwise, it can be confusing unless the action plan is created -from the onset- in the exact order we want it to be executed. However, this is not always the case.

With the above in mind, the idea we propose is for the Improvement Module to provide a feature that allows for ‘dragging’ the actions up/down or reorganise them, so it is shown in the desired order in accordance with their sequence of completion. The same applies if the actions were not created in a sequential order of completion and later it is decided to reorganise them accordingly. This would be a similar feature to the one we use when editing a process in which we can drag activities or tasks up/down.

I've attached a pic to illustrate what we are suggesting.

Please, let me know whether this is viable to do. It would be a great feature, and I wouldn't be surprised if other Process Manager users are experiencing the same situation.

Thanks,

Carlos
