It would be useful if a workflow's URL did not automatically change if the workflow's name is changed. Recently one of our departments changed its name, and that name was part of the name of one of our workflows. When I changed the name, it basically created a new workflow. I've experienced this previously, too. I don't want to have to try to remember where I created a hyperlink to the workflow and go in and change it.

Thank you for your votes on this idea. This feature is underway, and planned for release end of March.
This feature is strictly for Publishing workflows only, where you will be able to publish as new, publish over another existing, or publish and rename.
Draft workflows are out of this scope.
I'll endeavour to update this ticket as we progress, but I would recommend referring to release notes and our in product What's new, which will be updated immediately.
