Option to decide if a document (image, video, pdf, etc) should be added to the Promapp library

When writing a process with attachments, especially screenshots, it is often not necessary for that image to be added to the documents library. It would be great to be able to tick a box that says this document is not required in the library but is still attached to the process, that way it would reduce image clutter in the library (that really should be for documents) and reduce the amount of reviews required on individual document library items

Thank you very much for posting your feedback on the Option to decide if a document should be added to the Promapp library. At this time, we will not be adding this request to the near-term backlog, as we are focused on improving our search and process variation capabilities and delivering sequential approvals. However, we reevaluate requests every quarter and will reach out if priorities change. Please keep the feedback coming as it is critical for our longer-term planning.

We also have the problem of the document register being overly cluttered with image files that have poor filenaming conventions. Images should be managed separately to genuine process documents so I would like to see a ON-OFF configuration option for a filter that hides the image files with the document register.

Our document library fills up pretty quickly with screenshot jpgs. We have a Platform for which we have written many "how to" maps. These are supplemented with snips of the view the user would be seeing at that stage in the procedure. These snips/screenshots however do not need to be searched for as a standalone document and clutter lists and as also mentioned are named fairly poorly. An option as to whether a document goes into the library or just sits at a map level would be helpful.

We have a similar situation where our document library, and search results, are cluttered with images that are not useful without context. Even if this feature was added just to images it would be very valuable.

Some of my flow charts are shown as an image for easy viewing. This is probably the only time i'd actually want to save an image to the document library. If it's an image (aka screenshot) then default can be to not save to doc lib but i'd like the choice for those really occasional moments when i create a basic flowchart as an image.

    This is a brilliant suggestion!
When we want to delete a group where a process was previously housed and then moved, all the images saved in the group also have to be moved one by one! There is a bulk group associate search tag, but no dis-associate so I still have to remove the group from each image.
