Enable adding parallel activities in process variation

I would like to be able to add tasks in parallel in a process version. I can't do this and I can't change in the standard process either once I created variations.
The point here is to make sense of the process with tasks that start and are carried out at the same time. It is therefore not possible to use notes or a mini process to express this.
I find that such a restriction really blocks the use of process variations.
Thanks

Yes we agree also. We plan to implement parallel activities for variations later this year.

Agreed we need this as well. Is there a release date?

Agreed. This is a big roadblock for promoting this great feature.

I agree, we definitely need this feature as the workarounds are messy and/or reflect an inaccurate process.

The development of this feature is underway, it involves rebuilding the entirety of the variation feature. We're planning to start an advance preview by the end of this calendar year.

I need this now, really messes us up getting half way through and discovering this basic feature is disabled - but good to know it's underway! We'll have to put some plans on hold until it's done though, which is frustrating when we're already paying for the module...
