Allowing upload of images and videos but not other documents like Word, PDF or Excel

Our company has its Document management system and we do not want users to save it somewhere else. However for Process and Procedures, it is useful if videos or images can be uploaded against the Activity or Task. Currently, Promapp only allows upload of all document types but not by type (e.g. allow only image and video types but restrict any other type of document like excel, word, powerpoint or pdf)

    Hi Kerry, It's not that we want specific files to not be uploaded but we don't want anyone to be able to upload anything.

    It would be better to restrict the type of information that can be uploaded. eg allow images, videos, training but restrict upload of policies, guides and information to staff responsible for document control.

    Thanks for the feedback. This functionality is possible today but you will need to reach out to our support team to disable the file types you do not wish to be uploaded. However we'll open this for voting for making this a client configuration.
