Nintex Worklfow Cloud - Salesforce Actions (Get/Attach files) is saving documents into 'Notes and Attachments' section.

Nintex Worklfow Cloud - Salesforce Actions (Get/Attach files) is saving documents into 'Notes and Attachments' section. It would be of more value to provide an option to save them to 'Files' section under a Salesforce Object, since 'Notes and Attachments' section is depreciating.

Any updates yet? The Attachments created by Workflow Cloud show up on the Salesforce Optimizer as a problem that needs to be solved. Moving them to files from Salesforce using MagicMover is time consuming.

    Hi Sri,

Thanks for your question. We are aware of this situation and are looking into supporting files in addition to attachments. Are you only using files via the Lightening experience or do you use a mix of files and attachments?

    Hi Dan,

Currently we are using Nintex Drawloop document package to generate and attach powerpoint document to attachments. Looking forward on future releases of salesforce. We will be using drawloop package to generate and attach powerpoint document to files. Can you tell us by which NWC release this will be available?

Yes all points per Sri above are agreed, and additionally given files can be significantly larger then attachments (max size attachment = 25mb, max size file = 2 gb) most of us prefer to use files. Looking forward to this enhancement!

Need the ability to link documents to Salesforce Files. The Notes and Attachments related list is being replaced by Files.

Hi, any update for this suggestion? I can see it is on the roadmap, but when? It has been 3 years since it went into 'planned'.
    Thanks

For Franchise Onboarding, our Merchants need to be able to upload a menu via the Nintex form and on submission of the form, it should get attached to the ā€œFilesā€ related list in Salesforce. Since Salesforce is deprecating the ā€œNotes and Attachmentsā€ section, we cannot attach the uploaded file to the ā€˜ Attachmentā€™ object in Salesforce. As DoorDash uses Salesforce, it is important that architecturally, Salesforce ā€œfilesā€ are supported by Nintex.

    Hi Guys,

As of now using "Get file from a record" in NWC able to get collection of files of type : attachment. It would be nice if this can fetch attachment type: file also from salesforce. I guess in future salesforce releases the type:attachment may not be supported moving forward to Lightning in salesforce.

Let me know if you need any more info.
