Add a variable to the instance name to help identify workflow

It would be really useful to be able to add a variable to the instance name, to help identify what the particular instance is related too.

    yes, add a column(s) in the list of instances, with a user selected variable from that instance

    @Anonymous - Even easier than that, just allow the Instance Name field to be editable. That way you could make each instance name read something like: "$1,000 Task Order for Anderson Project," which on the backend would look something like "[Amount] [Instance Type] for [Project Name]" with the variables in brackets.

    When you have many workflows running within a single list, it would be useful to be able to either define the Instance Name from the workflow.
    Or have another column the WF could write to, to enable easier identification of a single instance.. Currently you have to open each one OR match the Date Initiated with the create date.

    Being able to add an identifier from the list item (ID, Title etc) would really help,
