the SharePoint Online - Update item permissions workflow action be updated so that it doesn't just have to accept the name of a user or group when assigning permissions to an item in a list?
The workflow action is quite an important security feature we'd like to make use of but we can't use it effectively because if there are more than one person in our organisation with the same name, the action can't figure out which person should be assigned permissions. It would be much better if it could use an email address as the identifier of the user we want to apply permissions to.
You can see that only "Name" is an option when applying permissions to a user. If we could choose from either a name, email or SharePointID, that would be much better."
