Process Models - Lane Sizing

Very fussy and difficult to resize lanes and width of the diagram

  • If make one lane bigger the others get smaller

  • Content in the boxes all around doesn’t move with the lane it’s housed in. Need to lock content to the boxes and push all down, not shrink or expand the other lanes

    • This results in an exorbitant amount of time wasted in selecting individual boxes and moving them all done and increasing the size of the overall swim lanes to fit,

    • If try to move further down than the size of the lanes boundary, the move fails, have to resize the entire thing, then go and reselect each individual box

  • Would be ideal to be able to easily select multiple boxes without having to click on every single box to do moves in addition. Editing the flows is quite tiresome at the moment as a result

  • When sizing a lane anywhere would be ideal to be able to do it from anywhere on the line, no have to find a dot in the centre, particularly for a large diagram

Hello @Guest Could I check if you have use the "Create space" tool? From your description, I believe that will address most of what you are describing, as by using the tool you can create space and resize pools with out having to specifically select that pool, as well as move any elements.
