As a Promaster, I want to be able to see when and who created users, and when updates to the users profile was made from within the users section of Process Manager, so that I have a full audit trail of user management that is easy to access.
I would also like to be able to see who is creating roles and when. This is open to all users to be able to create and in some instances there are multiple roles being created, similar roles just worded differently, incorrect roles or responsibilities etc. I would like to be able to identify who is creating them and when they were created so that I am able to provide feedback and training to the right users.
Problem:
Currently, there is limited visibility into which users with the promaster role grant roles or access to other users. This makes it difficult to track changes, investigate issues, and perform audits when needed.
Proposed Idea:
Implement an audit log that records all role and access assignments performed by users with the promaster role.
The audit log should capture:
The PO Master user who granted or modified access.
The user who received the role or access.
The role(s) or permission(s) assigned, modified, or removed.
The date and time of the change.
The type of action performed (grant, update, or revoke).
Benefits:
Provides full traceability of access management activities.
Improves accountability for users with privileged access.
Simplifies internal and external audits.
Helps investigate security incidents and unauthorized access changes.
Strengthens governance and compliance with access management policies.
