It would be helpful to be able to create generic work queues that employees have access to by subject matter expertise, but rather than everyone in the group getting assigned all items sent to the queue and then selecting which item to work on, instead it would be nice to be able to fetch an item off the queue using rules such as first-in-first-out, last-in-first-out, highest priority, nearest due date, etc.
The value here would be that rather than every member of the role or group seeing all the work assignments and picking which item to work, they are instead only allowed to fetch the next item off the queue based on the defined rules for the queue.
Additionally, if you are a member of multiple subject matter expertise groups, you could limit your task list to items you are actively working more easily without the clutter of all the work items for group you are a member of showing in the tool.
