Currently the auto-complete control uses a "contains" approach which is fine if the data-soruce is something like a local sql table.
However, if we want to provide the text of what's being typed to a smartobject call and select from the results of that smo call, this scenario is not supported.
Real world example if we type "wellington mcdon" into the text box, we want to send that text to google maps addresses api as an input param, then have the autocomplete box show all the matching results
