Create New Item on SharePoint List Action to be created by end user not connection account

When using the "Create New Item" workflow action to create a new line item on the relevant SharePoint List it would be helpful if it could create the item by the person who submitted the form for authenticated users (internal staff/users). This would allow you to set specific views on the SharePoint list for created by only so users can only see what they submitted.

Hi Eleanor, Unfortunately this is just not possible as all actions in NWC run under the permission of the connection as that's really the only we know the user/account actually has permissions to the SP destination (or any other source system). One option to support you use case (views) would be to use use the start event context info (First name, last name and email) values and save these to additional columns in the list which will then give you the filtering, etc..
