Express Approval associated terms and/or embedded outcome selection field

It would be really helpful to see either one or both of these improvements to the Express Approval feature.

1) Allow us to associate more than one term to a particular outcome. For example, if you have a review task setup with the outcomes of "Approve" and "Reject", the response given back needs to match one of those options. It would be great though if we could also configure the action to accept "Approved", "Accept", "Accepted", "Authorize", etc. and have all of those additional terms associated to the "Approve" outcome. Edit 1/14/2025 - It appears this has been handled via the Smart response detection that was added 12/12/2024.

2) Embed the radio button outcome field into the email so the users don't have to type a response, but instead just pick an outcome and hit send.

    Hi @Guest,

This was indeed the feature intended to solve for this idea you raised. Thank you for identifying and updating this card; I will now close the idea as Completed.

One of the goals of this feature was to alleviate the effort from our designers and to leverage AI to speed up the process.

Please do continue to reach out with any feedback on this feature, or other ideas you might have.

    Regards,

    Kate Huynh

Even with training, this continues to be a problem for our users (particularly new users). In addition, Outlook added buttons with suggested replies (e.g. Approved), so by nature, users are clicking on those buttons, but the task isn't getting actioned on. Valid phrases was a feature in Nintex 2013 and should be added to NAC.

Both of those options would b great. I have seen a similar option in other products where you can use "fuzzy" option on words, so for example if you allow fuzzy terms in approve then anything similar to approve will be allowed such as aprove, approvee etc.
