Form Integration to SharePoint Lists/Libraries

Integration - New Button in SharePoint List/Library

We need a way to point a start event form to the "new button" in a SharePoint list. The only way this is possible at present is OOO concept provided by Microsoft but this is not sustainable if we want users to build their own forms like they do in Nintex Forms for Office 365, but through NAC.

Integration - Edit and Display mode in SharePoint List/Library

We also need the ability to build a standalone NAC form (not a start event form) that is connected somehow to a sharpeoint list so when users EDIT or VIEW the list item it pops up for users to edit or view the list item record. (in designer, we'd be able to connect the form to a sharepoint list and design the form for both edit and display mode similiar to how 365 forms offers).

Challenges since migrating to NAC while working with NAC & Nintex Forms for Office 365:

We are currently struggling to integrate fully into NAC for our automated solutions that leverage lists for data storage and status tracking!

We still have to rebuild forms in Nintex Forms for Office 365, which is double, if not triple the workload and resources. Not to mention, alot of workarounds to provisioning of permissions the every list to ensure users can't ADD items to the list. Which is not ideal, if we want them to have one environment (sharepoint list) where they can do everything - create new request, edit request and display request.

Please find a solution so we can move away from Nintex Forms for Office 365 application all together! NAC Forms are faster and offer much more features and less restrictive, as our primary issues right now are guest accounts not showing up in people picker controls on Office 365 forms. Thanks!

Hi Niklas, we have the same issue. We build up the forms twice. There is no solution to use Powerapp Formulars. The work is also done then twice.

Maybe you have also a different Problem. If you building a Nintex Form on it. In 365 Sharepoint it gives the Details Pane. When you right click on a Element and Choose Details you can see and edit all columns. That makes Nintex Forms a little bit obsolete.

    Hi Brandi,

your request sounds like using Power Apps Formulars on your SharePoint List could fit your use case?

    Best regards,

    Niklas
