When a task is delegated, the original assignee should receive a notification email indicating that the task has been delegated and identifying the delegate.
This functionality was available in Nintex for SharePoint On-Prem and provided valuable transparency for end users. Currently, users may not be aware that a task has been delegated on their behalf, which can lead to confusion when tracking task ownership and progress.
A simple notification email would improve visibility and make the delegation process more transparent for all involved parties.
