In the old responsive forms, there is an option on a button that allows us to set a SharePoint list field when a button is clicked.
On the new Nintex forms, this option has been removed and there is no option to allow this. Using rules-triggered button is not feasible as it does not submit/save the form and doing it like this will cause the user to click 2 buttons to set the value and then submit the form.
I hope this option can be added back as this is an essential component for form designers or give us an option to accomplish this using a rule that can set a value and submit/save a form.
