The idea is to be able to retrieve metadata associated with a File Variable inside a workflow.
At a minimum, to be able to retrieve the name of the file linked to the File Variable. Also, if available, the other metadata of the file (creation date, modification date, etc.).
It is currently impossible to know the name of the file associated with a File Variable. To do this in a way supported by the tool, without using the workaround involving a collection and a RegEx, it is necessary to upload the File Variable to a third-party service to retrieve its name, which is unacceptable.
Especially since the file name is available in the File Variable but is not officially accessible.
Having a workflow action that allows extracting the file name, or other metadata, would be ideal.
