Restrict access to tasks to the assigned user

If the assigned user sends the form link to another user they are able to action the task. The assigned user should be the only person that can action the task unless it is delegated to someone else

I tested this by selecting a user, then forwarding the email to my address and I was able to action the task even though it was not assigned to me (I couldn't select myself in the assignee for the task and Authentication was enabled)

    Hi @Guest ,

    Thanks for reaching out.
This feature already exists, under Assignee Authentication: https://help.nintex.com/en-US/nwc/Content/Designer/Actions/AssignaTasktoMultipleUsers.htm
In order for Nintex to know who is viewing the form, the user must log in to view the form (Participant role). If Task form email or URL is shared with someone else, they will be denied access to view the task. If only Express approval is enabled, then you have the option to enable Verify responder's email address.

If Authentication is enabled, a task must be delegated to a another user before anyone other than the defined assignee can respond, or if they are a business owner.

    Regards,

    Kate Huynh
