Create collection variables in forms

Now that we have all of the basic types plus Object are there any plans to allow creation of Collections in Forms? We're finding it difficult to use the default values for Choice - Multi because we need to build the Collections ahead of time for things like task forms. This means a "Query a List" or similar and multiple Regular Expression or other actions to get the data in the form it is needed. It would be great if we had a similar function in Forms. Even split() would be sufficient. Alternatively allowing the object type of Collection would facilitate a Form Plugin to do all the lifting.
