I think it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to group form variables. This would not impact the functionality of the variables or the form at all, it would just be a visual way to organize variables within the Form builder so that it is easier to understand and follow. They could also be considered categories. For example, if I have a number of variables that are all related to Process A, I could add them to a group that I name Process A. That way, not only is it easier for me to see my variables in an organized fashion, but if someone else on my team ever needs to make changes to this form/workflow, it will be more clear to them what the heck is going on. Obviously this isn't a huge deal when you only have a couple of form variables. But if you have a large number like I have in the example below, it can get pretty confusing pretty quickly.
