The Instance filters are very limited. The user should be able to set the default filters for viewing instances. Our team may have an instance that runs for months. We have to know when that particular instance began so we can customize the filter for that date. Other options below are examples I would look for:
View all instances with a particular status or instance name ignoring date ranges
View all instances within a given date range - such as previous year or previous 3 months
Allowing the user to customize the filters would make viewing/searching for an instance much more user-friendly.
