In a medium or large organization, it is not always possible to add users to Nintex before they begin using a form. Having the ability to pass a users identity (e.g. - ID, Email address, name, etc.) helps to allow the user to get immediate access to the form. The idea or thinking is to create a way for an external system to pass this information in query string or header so that a form can pre-populate information making it easier for the user by not requiring them to input information that is already known.
