Set Multi-Choice Control Values via Rules

With the addition of Multi-Choice DSV control support, we are utilizing Multi-Choice controls more frequency throughout forms. Specifically building repeating sections that drive multi-choice/single-choice dropdowns elsewhere.

In my opinion, not being able to set the value of these fields via rules is a major limitation. Rules are an important tool to enforce data integrity before form submission. And this proposed functionality currently exists for all other input controls.

Potential Use cases:

  1. Set default pre-selected values.

  2. Clear selected values or set the field value to blank.

    Hi Nick,

Great news! We've released the capability that allows the default value for the multi-choice control to be set via Form rules. For more information, please refer to the help content.

    Thanks,

    Akshay

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for submitting the idea. This enhancement for Choice - Multiple control is already planned. I'll update the status of the idea to reflect its current state.
