In the add-in app Nintex Forms for Office 365 Classic Forms, we were able to disable all controls within a Panel control by applying a rule to disable the panel itself.
However, in the SPFx app SharePoint list form designer, the Panel control is not available, so we are using the Group control as an alternative. Unfortunately, the Group control does not currently support a “Read-only” function.
We kindly request the addition of a “Read-only” option for Group controls, allowing all nested controls to be set as read-only—similar to how the Panel control functioned in Classic Forms.
We have found that the Repeating Section control works the same as the current Group control.
We would also like to request the addition of a “Read-only” option for the Repeating Section control, allowing all nested controls within it to be set as read-only.
