The 'Set Credential' Action will set a Credential which is stored within the bot.
Requesting that this action be enhanced to set a credential that is stored in the RPAC Credential Vault.
Use Case
User has 20 bots that run against Application X. All of these bots utilize the Credential within the Credential Vault for ease of use. Every 90 days, Application X forces a password reset.
Current Solution: Manually reset the password, and manually update the Credential within the vault.
Issues with Current Solution: 1) Some applications don't allow you to change a password before it expires; You have to let it expire. 2) Your botflow could fail if the password isn't changed properly. This could cause the user to be locked out of Application X, delays in processing, etc...
Proposed Solution will enable a bot to identify when a password requires changing, change the password, and update the vault accordingly. Bots don't stop, passwords remain secure.
