I want to bring you up to speed on your engineering team's finding regarding the KBA SSN/DOB functionality and submit a formal request to expedite support for this in the latest API.
It is currently impossible to allow a signer to input SSN/DOB prior to KBA for envelopes prepared using the v3 API, which is the version of the API leveraged by the our app.
Your VP of Engineering indicated a workaround for this lack of functionality would be preparing envelopes using the v2 API. The v2 API is a SOAP API and this is not an acceptable resolution for our team.
I would like to formally request the AssureSign team to add this functionality to the v3 API. This is a basic feature supported by all major e-sign vendors.
