Html in a text field interpreted by the Text Component

A number of customers and users have found it confusing that a Text Component with "Allow HTML" will allow them to add HTML. in the template, but not interpret the HTML contained in a field's value. It would be great if there were a way to display HTML that is stored in the database. Currently, that only works in Form components, IFAIK.
